“Chicano” is a song by Pussycat. It was released in 1983 on a single and their LP After all. It was written by Werner Theunissen. On the B-side is the song It’s over. The single was produced and arranged by Günter Lammers and Juan Bastós.
The single was in both the Tipparade and the Tip 30 for six weeks, but did not manage to rise to the main charts.
In the song, the singer has a monologue with a chicano, or a Mexican American. She wants him to pick up the guitar daily again, because he is now at a dead end.
