“Hey Joe” is a song by Pussycat from 1978. It is not a cover of the rock classic Hey Joe, but was written by Werner Theunissen. Theunissen was the most important writer during the existence of Pussycat.
The group released the song in 1978 as a single and also on the LP Wet day in September. The single was produced by Eddy Hilberts and the arrangement came from Paul Natte. On the B-side is the song Love in September, which was also released on the same album. The single entered the charts in both the Netherlands and Belgium.
