Pussycat-guitarist John Theunissen (66) passed away

Theunissen (Heerlen 21 December 1948 – Heerlen 19 November 2015) played in the Limburg pop group from 1975 to 1980. Pussycat ceased to exist in 1985. The guitarist became internationally known with the rock group through the songs Mississippi, Georgie and Smile. With Mississippi, Pussycat was number 1 in fourteen countries. Pussycat went ‘gold’ with 22 records.
