Knight’s Hall in The Hague, Netherlands (The Knight’s Hall is the medieval reception hall of the Count’s Castle in the middle of the Binnenhof in The Hague. The Knight’s Hall is used for ceremonial state meetings, including the delivery of the annual Speech from the Throne). This photo was probably taken after the personal appearance for our then Queen Juliana. She walked past quickly. The sound was probably a bit too loud. 😀

EMI England didn’t want to release Mississippi. So we offered it to several record labels. And a very small label finally released it. Successfully! The first Dutch band to number one in England. It’s estimated that over 500,000 copies of the single were sold in England. And yes, how EMI regretted not releasing it…” 😄😄😄
